Party girl

Spent this afternoon with L in the Victoria building, where her daughter's wedding will take place later in the year. The place is a blipper's paradise, as it's not only a gallery and museum but also a work of architectural art in itself. Quite challenging to photograph however, with dim lighting, bright light from the windows, and every surface covered in ornate deeply coloured and shiny Victorian tiling. Took loads although I'll go back with a tripod next time to do some longer exposures and bracketed shots. Despite all the artistic delights in there I was drawn to a small display of oddments found in the infrastructure during restoration work... National Man's Monthly, anyone?
