Halong Bay early morning kayaking

Early morning breakfast at 7am then packed off into the kayaks for a paddle around and under the cliffs to the inner lagoons. It was a truly peaceful, serene experience and was only spoilt unfortunately by the amount of rubbish floating in the water. It's a shame that such a wonder of nature can be so poorly treated and it made swimming almost impossible (one Swede guy on the boat took his chances!).
Following the kayak we enjoyed lunch whilst cruising back to harbour and to the bustle of mainland Vietnam...
