grape lady

A few weeks ago, I was in the produce section of our market when someone caught my eye. It was an elderly lady and she was going through all the bags of grapes and making her own bag with the good grapes. Sure, I look for the best bag of grapes but I do not open them and find all the good grapes and make a new bag. I am guessing it was a habit she learned very young. She is probably on a fixed income and that bag of grapes was probably going to have to last her a week or more. It made me a bit sad but also I thought it was very nervy of her.
