Hartwood Hospital

We had a wee trip down to the Ayrshire coast today. Maddy was meeting up with Chloe and her folks for a couple of days at Craig Tara holiday park just outside Ayr. They'd gone down on Monday and the friend who was supposed to go with Chloe had pulled out at the last minute so we said we'd take Mads down today so Chloe had a friend there.

It wasn't too bad a drive actually (well I say that but it was Roz doing the driving not me). There were some good blippertunities on the journey too. In the end it was a choice between the Brig O' Doon in Alloway made famous in Tam O'Shanter and this shot of Hartwood Hospital near Shotts. Since I have previous for blipping deserted hospitals and since a fellow blipper used to work at Hartwood I opted for this one (for the blipper in question we would have popped in on the way back but we ended up pushed for time, we know how to get there now though so we'll visit at some point in the not too distant future.
