Weekend away

We took the opportunity to have a couple of days exploring the town centre of Birmingham, courtesy of a £10 room deal at Malmaison. I've never been to Birmingham before and was nicely surprised by the mix of beautiful old buildings, iconic new buildings (Selfridges) and culture.

We saw 'Kick Ass' whilst we were there too, and although it was very entertaining I'm not sure it comes under the description of culture :-)
