A bright day

A craw (Corvus corone in a budding Silver Birch (Betula pendula).

M left bright and early this morning for Gateshead (she's just returned, phew!)
and I headed to the allotment. It took me almost twice as long as usual, my muscles are like wet string, but I had to go as I heard that the bin had finally been emptied (mirabile dictu!)

An hour or so of dumping the accumulated trash of ages, then home.
