A favourite spot

Since we have had the alpha male dilemma with Hooligan and Deedle (and still does!), we have separated the two males during day time and put Hooli's bed in front of the window in the study. He is still free to roam outside, but mostly only goes outside when nature calls.

He loves this sunny place in front of the window, and as he does not carry any fatty tissue, the warming rays of the winter sun are much sought after.

The only time when he really finds it hard not to charge outside, is when the postman delivers. I cannot help but to wonder what appeal the postman has, as it sounds as if each and every one of our little town's canine inhabitants go beserk at the postman just doing his rounds ...

This is my view from my desk as I turn left towards the window .. hydrangea, philidendron and a fig tree frequented by feathered friends looking for a sweet morsel ...

Till about three weeks ago there were still some fruits ... now we will have to wait for next summer ...
