Devonian blippers look away now, it won't be pretty! We headed south to Dartmoor today because I haven't walked this part of the country before and I was all excited at the promise of the Tors!

Quite frankly we do rocks better in Yorkshire! We did give Dartmoor a chance, we climbed up three hills to look at tors, but we also do a better job of bleak landscape up north. In addition we can offer the romanticism of Catherine and Heathcliffe. I did hope that Lorna Doone would appear to restore my faith but I gather she lived on Exmoor?!
