Improvement?

I did something today that I've been toying with for a while. Not sure I'm ready to show and tell just yet though.

In other news, I played with a tripod for the first time this evening. I did use one very briefly on the photography course I did last year but that was shared and time was short. It was a lot of trial and error and quite a few shots have ended up in the trash folder but I think I'm getting there. Slowly.

Time is running out in the land down under. I don't want to think about where I'll be this time next week.
