Are we off now?

Somehow all my best intentions of taking some great shots of the happy couple fell apart today, but I snatched this grainy one of my Mum, ready for off. It was an amazing event, she had wanted a party and that's what she got. Over 60 friends and family, a couple of toasts, pink champagne and cake, what more can one ask for. Everyone was so pleased to see how well mum was, her bridesmaid, Jean, was there who she has known since she was 10. Dads school friend Cogs was also there, he was named that because his brother was mad keen on Mechano, actually as the second brother he was really Cogs 2. Dad and he met when they were 15 and then went to Cambridge together before Dad went in the Navy.

Family had travelled from Edinburgh, Stavanger, Leeds, Guildford, York, Market Harborough, Carlisle, Cockermouth, Wigton and Furness. A good time was had by all
