En route to Torridon

We set off early today to escape the snows of West Linton and head north to sunny Torridon along with Fred, Linda, Derek and Ant. We had a few stops along the way, the first being at Blair Atholl at the Old Watermill cafe. We couldn't have timed it better. The fresh scones, bread and bagels were arriving in the tea shop as we got there, and later as we headed out for a walk under a railway bridge a train went overhead. Only a few minutes later we saw the gates coming down across the road meaning that another train was about to pass. In fact it was 'Diesel' (as Max informed me) hurtling past. We also stopped by the river to throw some stones and try to break the ice on the river. Life couldn't be better... A great start to an Easter weekend
