First flower in bloom!
I almost could not believe my eyes when I met this Unkarinsinivuokko, Hepatica transsylvanica, today in the park of botanical garden. The park was still mostly covered by snow but there were a couple of bare spots already. This is not a domestic species, but it is growing outdoors anyway.
I know that first wild flowers are already blooming in southwestern Finland, but Helsinki is not the warmest place so nature here is never a spring forerunner. So I was not really expecting anything yet, just wanted to check if something is already starting to grow. Wonderful surprise!
I also back-blipped yesterday, my nephew eating his birthday cake.
