Held a tenants meeting in one of our sheltered schemes this morning. We need to make some changes to the building so went in to consult with them - Lots of feisty ladies and gentlemen who were only to keen to let us know what they think of the suggestions and made some pretty good suggestions as well.

One of the ladies is a bit special, I was the Housing Officer who offered her the flat and made a lot of visits to her when she first moved in to make sure she was settling in alright.

She is now quite poorly and very frail. Her family have bought her a new electric wheelchair so she can still get around the building and the local shops. Gladys insisted I call in and check out her new wheels..... ain't no stoppin' her now!
