April in NYC

We left this morning for New York City, and got there early enough to enjoy the whole afternoon outside. Spring has definitely arrived in NYC. After a nice lunch, Mr. DH went to a quick meeting, while my daughter and I walked around. I gave her my point-and-shoot camera, and she spent quite a bit of time photographing the squirrels, pigeons, and buildings. She told me she wanted to create a book called The Wildlife and Buildings of New York.

I love April in New York. Every thing is a week or two ahead of us in Boston...the daffodils, the magnolias, the forsythias. So lovely to get a taste of what's to come.
