Easter Bouquet
Our soon to be son-in-law brought over a beautiful bouquet of Easter flowers. I was barely awake when I saw them for the first time and thought they were just to nice to pass up. Here's wishing you all a very happy Easter...
Notes: This composite is made from 12 timed exposures with each one being lit as a small section and from different directions. A great advantage to doing this is adjusting how bright or dim some sections become while blending the images together. If I had all the shots layered and full on it looks pretty flat and boring and not worth showing.
Finally a little sharpening and a little dry brush filter to give it a painterly look.
FYI: I had to shoot the series twice because the alignment fell out of registration on the first pass. You have to use an external shutter trigger. Touching the camera will mess it up every time. Also I found my flashlights to be either to dim or to bright. So I compromised and put very weak batteries in the bright flashlight. Probably to much work but what the heck, it's Sunday...
A late addition: Almost missed dinner but did finally showed up for his Easter photo. No Easter Blip would be complete without. Our backyard pal
