Catching Up on Zs

I had a wonderful day today. My son and his family came for an early Easter get together. I got to visit with my wonderful daughter-in-law and play with my grandchildren while my son took the opportunity to take a little nap.

The whole family was exhausted. They're all recovering from colds and suffering from lack of sleep but they powered on to give me a good time. My two-year-old grandson hunted Easter eggs for himself and his eight-month-old sister, and the Easter Bunny had a great time hiding them before they arrived.

We ordered pizza so nobody had to waste time in the kitchen when they could be playing or snoozing and it was the perfect thing.
