HUH?!?

Busy blipping backwards.
We went "over west" to do the "Christmas" Inlaws and Outlaws run.
As usual I do a bit of sneaky pointy shooty en route there and back.
I was looking at them, some considerably time after the event and spotted this weird column which I have no recollection of seeing on the day.
I know that, a wee bit before my time  (;¬))    the Lake District is reputed to have been volcanic, but not of late and last time I was up Skiddaw it was definitely a bit on the cool side.
