not a dolphin...

This morning Luce and I headed out to sea! Kitted up in super-stylish full waterproofs and goggles, we went in search of dolphins. Unfortunately we didn't actually see any dolphins, but we saw some yesterday so we weren't too disappointed. We did, however, see lots of sea birds, which was really cool.

This was my first time attempting bird-in-flight photography, which was just as difficult as I thought it would be, made ten times worse by the fact that we were being thrown about all over the place in a fast boat! But it was good fun, and I got a few shots I was happy with. Here's a cormorant taking flight :)
