Fruits of my labours - I hope!
After much digging and divesting of various layers of clothing as I got hotter and hotter, I planted the British Queen potato tubers. Following the instructions in an ancient organic gardening book, they're placed on half rotted leaf mould and are now covered with garden compost.
We grew this variety last year and were very impressed with the flavour. They date back to 1894 and were raised in Fife!
