Global perspective

This is me and my mum messing about in Selfridges. True to form, the Brummies were out in force in the Bullring today - maybe that's because it was pouring with rain.

We had a lovely lunch at Mount Fuji which really is a gem, and so much better than the packed, and essentially quite poor, Wagamamas.

After this we visited the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, where the Staffordshire hoard is on show - and, having been one of the donors that helped raise the £3.3m (my bit was only £20 I hasten to add) I feel I partly own it now :) They didn't seem that keen to give me a bit though.
