Looking into an Extinct Volcano......

We have finally made it to Madeira, the sun is just shining and the Island is very Green, Lush, Hilly and very Beautiful and we can recommend it to anyone, we will certainly come back for a holiday in the future.
For those who wanted to know about the land slides, well they have recovered very well indeed, all but a few minor roads are still blocked, we did see one very large house with half a mountain on its roof, and our guide said they would not be coming back any time soon.

This is the middle of the island and this village is right slap bang in the middle of a Volcano Base, you can see the clouds coming over the lip of the mountains in the distance.

As I write, Mrs BM is still practicing for the show she has to put on soon (see yesterdays blip).

We leave here tonight and arrive on Sunday morning in Almeria, Spain so we will be exploring that place too.
