met with someone this morning in a work capacity. It never fails to amaze me what some people deem as being acceptable to share with almost-strangers. Especially as it was a business meeting.

And as if that weren't gossip enough a wee while later I was told something even more juicy. Goodness. Wish I could tell you all, but probably best that I don't.

Evening was spent at the pub quiz. (Are we the only country in the world where pub quizzes are such a huge part of the fabric of society?). Luckily my knowledge of World Cup football and Olympic hosts made up for my lack of knowledge of the Vicar of Dibley*

This is a bit of a blip cliche here for me. I know I have blipped it before, and I suspect that I may blip it again. But it's quite photogenic and it's one of my favourite views of the city.


* I am led to believe that it's a television situation comedy about a Church of England vicar. A larf a minute, I would imagine (not)
