a 'good' Friday
that's how it has been so far...it's a holiday today on the account of Good Friday. Decided to go on an early morning quick ride with farside. This was our last ride together in Hyderabad as he leaves the city tomorrow for good. We took the same route that we took Saturday. In fact, today's picture is clicked at the same place as the picture in last saturday's blip. We pretty much knew in our minds where we wanted to go and where to stop, right when we started. Unlike last week, today, it was quite sunny and the light was good. Though it would've been better had we reached this place earlier in the morning - there were clear signs of a very dew-y morning. I wouldn't have minded staying back for a little longer there but farside had to rush back to work.
Today it was just the two of us - none of the other regular riders accompanied us. As we rode our way back, we started talking (though it was I who was doing most of the talking) about the hills (that we end up talking about all the time) and then slowly one story lead to another - stories about childhood adventures and growing up with them. Stories about times when staying overnight at home all by oneself was an adventurous achievement, the first unassisted cooking adventure, long-ish cycling trips, exploring beyond neighbourhood - everything had an adventure and sense of achievement attached to it.
There were other photos today - of green fields and butterflies, of 'candid' portraits...but I decided to go with this one. This is how I would remember the day - last ride in Hyd with farside.
