Blue Skies

Blue skies return! The clouds cleared and it was gorgeous later this afternoon. I got outside to plan what I want to get done this weekend and snipped a nice bunch of pussy willow to bring inside.

The loons are back! I love the loons, they sound so amazing and strange and are a sure sign of spring. They return when the ice is off the lake and it only left earlier this week. All the other birds are here and the frogs are peeping at night.

I'm sure the black flies will be here shortly, I'll be filling you in on that nightmare. There will be whining involved but they only last about 6 weeks, so it'll be fairly short. ;)
