NOT an April Fool's Joke

To say I was up and out of the house early enough to see the sunrise would make most of my friends think "April Fools!" - but alas, they'd be wrong. I had to make the long walk to the library and back so that I could be at the college before 8AM.

I am a morning person, but the "up 'til 3AM" kind, not the "get up at 6AM" one!

Still, I did my best to take advantage of a time of day I seldom see for a photo op. I took this picture of the eastern sky near the library and thought at the time it wasn't going to come out that well. When I saw it this afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised, thus it's my blip today.

Life is what we make it I suppose. It was a good day despite my initial distaste for it. :)
