I decided to stay home from college today,feeling that I could be more productive studying at home rather than in class. I never learn. No matter how determined I am that I will get down to the essay,I am easily distracted.
No sooner had I sat down I was taking photos of the crayons on my desk. Then I just had to find a certain tape because I had an urge to listen to Alice Coopers Poison. This involved going back downstairs and finding the tapes at the bottom of the cupboard. I never found Alice,I think in a moment of haste I taped over him with Pete Tong. I did though find lots of old compilations I made when I was at college the first time round. I've played 3 so far and all the old memories have been flooding back,namely old boyfriends. I love how music can transport you back in time.
I haven't completed my essay yet.. after all of that it was time for lunch. I remain hopeful though that some of it may be completed today. I'll save the rest of the tapes for another day. Only so much nostalgia one can take..and I have so many more distractions ahead..
