my fabourite poem
Yes, I'm using this assignment to photograph books again. If anyone were to ask me what my favourite film or album is, the answer might change from hour to hour. However, Dylan Thomas was always my favourite poet. Poetry used to be my thing. It was what I cared most about: I read it to the exclusion of the whole of the rest of literature, and I tried my hand at it myself, with varying degrees of success. Dylan Thomas was, and is, a major inspiration and I can't read his poems, this one in particular, without feeling better about the world.
There are other things in my life now, but it still moves me to read this. This early edition of 'Deaths and Entrances' is probably one of my favourite books too.
Here's a clearer view of the poem anyway :)
