Slowly does it.

M and I are on a total go-slow today, I think all the traveling has caught up with us because we are both shattered and even the wonder that is N'awlins couldn't wake us up!

We had a long lie in this morning for the first time, then went to Cafe Beignet for french toast and a strawberry daiquiri for lunch. It was most tasty. Only in New Orleans do they serve daiquiris with the breakfast menu...

Its really hot here just now, not just sunny hot but real tiring can hardly move hot! We sat around in the sun for a while and then had a wander around the Quarter and into Jackson Square. Also popped into the Faulkner House bookshop for a bit of a browse, its a lovely wee place :)

It all got a bit much though, I ache, my feet hurt and I'm all tired out! So, tomorrow we will be more organized and plan our day, but tonight its pizza, telly and early to bed!
