Marina Hemingway, Havana

Laura and I came to Cuba to catch up with our friend Jen and her fiance Miles who are on an incredible sailing adventure from the UK to the US via Spain, Portugal, the Canary Islands and the Caribbean. I've not seen Jen since August last year, when they set off, so it was a fab location to catch up.

We'd all hoped to be in Cuba until Monday but the fronts were against them (according the Skipper / Weatherman / Captain Miles), so they had to set sail for Miami a day earlier than planned. An early start for us all getting their boat ship shape, a trip to immigration for all of us and then the start of a 1 1/2 day sail to Miami for them and a 20-minute taxi ride into Havana for Laura and I to stay at our Casa Particular for a night before flying home to the UK.
