Last night I stayed with my sister Angela, my niece Krystal and nephew Joel in their home in Rongotea. I cooked them dinner, which has become a bit of a tradition when I visit and then Angela and I stayed up late talking. Her ex-husband Paul died last week very unexpectedly so there was a fair bit of mixed emotions. He was always good to me when I was younger, but had not been much of a dad for the kids since he had left.
