Spectacular

I have never seen waves like this before down at the harbour. Down by where there are benches, I could only see half of them. The road was closed, the Police were in attendance and it was wild. Got loads of photo's, it was hard to make a decision what to post.

Had a good day at a Child Protection course this morning. It's a strange course to enjoy as it is a bit depressing and hard to hear at times. But very eye opening. It focused heavily on Internet sites and the dangers as this is where children are spending a lot of their time these days. It turns out it is so easily to get your identity stolen , photo's copied, and information about where you live....and this is from sites that are meant to be child friendly.
A lesson learn today was ......never believe what anybody tells you about themselves on the web. A supposed 14, 15, 16 year old wanting to make friends with you could be a female/male 30, 40, 50, 60 year old. Scary stuff.
