Stormy Prom

The rain's poured, the wind's blown all day and the tide is high.

I had a brief chance to nip down to the prom to see what was happening and was soaked within seconds. The waves were belting over the railings - and me -and although amazing, it was a wee bit scary too.

I'm sure I could've got something even more dramatic but my hands were frozen to the camera and the thought of a hot coffee lured me back inside.

There's something quite unpleasant about sitting in damp trousers all afternoon.
