Before the Rain Comes...

I headed out early this morning to get things done before the rain came. Turns out I wasn't early enough. It was raining lightly as I started getting things done but as the morning progressed, travel became more difficult and just plain YuCKy!

They've already declared a state of emergency out there. Tomorrow, it's going to rain heavy all day. Even the ducks have packed it in. They're just plain disgusted!

I'm setting my sights on brighter days which are actually just three away. Until then, I have plenty of provisions in the house to hibernate a little while longer.

Dear Mother Nature,
You're doing an extra good job on your garden this year, getting a jump start on April showers and all. The May flowers better be pretty amazing! Just sayin... loveyameanit!
