Audrey Hilda Stabb

I love graveyards.
So many stories....

This headstone caught my eye because a) it stands alone from the other headstones and b) because it is a war memorial that belongs to a woman and although it must happen I have never seen it before.

The lady in question is Audrey Hilda Stabb, she was in the woman's auxiliary air force, and she died on the 1st of August 1944 aged just 19.
