Hermit Crab!

Today we got to go on a trip to the Tacoma Zoo! It was a beautiful day, great weather and even better company! We went with some friends we hadden't visited in ages and had a blast. This was taken right after we got there. We made sure to hit up the childrens area first thing so Hannah wouldn't be wiped out by the time we got there. She loved all the activities and fun animals they had there. Here she has climbed into a Hermit Crab shell they had setup in the outside play area.

Hannah's highlight was getting to see the Puffin's and the Polar Bears, who were sunning on rocks the whole time :( But fun for her.

We all learned something on the trip, and saw the largest walrus ever!!! It weighed 3300 lbs! The other two in the exhibit weighed that combined. We couldn't believe what we were seeing.

The day ended up at a great dinner at the Waterfront on Pier 70 in Seattle celebrating a birthday in the family! It was an experience for sure. The kids did great!
