Zapatos y Shoes

This isn't the best picture, but I wanted to share it because of the humor of the sign hanging at the Spring Valley Swap Meet. My spanish isn't the best but I believe zapatos means shoes. So if zapatos means shoes (and y means and) wouldn't the sign translate to: shoes and shoes?
