Rhubarb and Ginger Brulee

Waitrose heavily promoted a recipe this week. After much suggestion from family members, I acquiesced and purchased the ingredients and produced the above.
Verdict: Rhubarb and ginger make a good combination. However not convinced that the Brulee version works. Too rich with all the double cream business...
Conclusion: Stick to Rhubarb (and Ginger) Crumble - surely one the greatest contributions to civilization....
