Ash The Patterdale Terrier

You know my job is amazing when it goes well, the last few months have been hard and sometimes quite dark. I work with Kids with challenging behaviour. Sometimes it feels like your banging your head against the wall.

Today was a awesome day, the young person who has only been with us a few days. Finally started to relax and open up. We managed to get him out in the hills climbing and absailing. It makes you feel all warm and fuzzy when you see someone achieve something that they didnt think they could. Sometimes one little smile lights up the whole day.

Afterwards it was time for an icecream in the rain, icecream in the sun would be better but we dont get alot of that at the moment, and pick up my collegue little puppy for a walk in the park. Such a cute little thing, and so full of energy it was quite hard to get a shot of it as it wouldnt stay still for even a split second.
