Water or Beer?

Conspiracy alert - the beer manufacturers out here appear to be moving into the water market - and calling it the same as their beer with the same logo, Here is a poster for Kingfisher Premium, and I saw a tv advert for the water using the same IPL stars and also one for Hayward's 5000 soda water - which is also a beer. Is this a way of getting round advertising rules? This poster doesn't actually say what the product being pushed is. Drink Water, have a good time may be relevant to the proportion of India's population without access to a reliable water supply, but not any one connected to the IPL.

Just to the left of this "Good Times Partner" promotion is an area of shacks - I hadn't noticed it until I crossed the road for this blip. The kids told me their names, counted to 22 (missing out 11 to 20) and sang 1-2 buckle my shoe, 3-4 buckle my shoe.

There is no such thing as Cobra out here. Just stop drinking it - it is a marketing ploy. There are 5% beers and strong beers. I stick to the "light" beers but I still haven't worked out the difference between Kingfisher and Kingfisher premium - except premium is more expensive, perhaps to pay for all that water advertising.

On my walk today I found a shop that sold angastura bitters and triple sec so had a rather tasty cocktail this afternoon - a distinctly slippery slope, although the slides in the playgrounds here tend to have rollers - and remembering how hot the metal slides used to get in summer in the UK I can imagine why.

Think I'd better change the subject. They've got more machines in the company gym now so I can't really justify not going more often. I need to have another weigh in but I'm a little scared.

Everything here is contradictory - beer or water for the people, and I'm worrying about my weight when there are families living in sheds just down the road. People here are divided by money, not teams.
