The hills are coughing up water....

The rain came today, and came with a vengeance. It hasn't stopped all day ~ quite symbolic for the first day back at work.

My coughing kept the staff awake during all the meetings, but eventually I escaped! Doc's appointment on Wednesday.

I got myself more than a little depressed about 2 a.m. today. Unable to sleep, I went onto the internet, and googled 'constant coughing', only to find that there are masses of forums out there with people all having the same symptoms as myself. It didn't help to find out that some of them have suffered for 20, 30 or even 40 years!! Every test known to man has been tried and abandoned. Good God, is this me until the grave???

On the way home tonight, I couldn't believe that the wee trickle of water I had passed on the way to work had turned into this!
