A Village Madonna

These little shrines are everywhere and anywhere someone decides to put one. This one at the village bus stop is quite smart. There are always fresh flowers. Note the bars to deter Madonna thieves.

As it is Palm Sunday I went out on purpose to photograph it but found I was more interested in the two people working in their garden. Perhaps I should have used it, instead. You can see it HERE. HERE
