The Littlest Karate Kid

Today, I shot a karate belt ceremony. Boys and Girls of all ages "graduating" from one belt type to another.

White belts signify beginners and this little one embodies the level. Barely out of their baby fat and very easily distracted.

Here was a quiet moment for this little guy. He was sitting there waiting for the ceremonies to begin, all by himself and looking mesmerized by the activities of the bigger boys practicing their moves, brandishing weapons and flying through the air.

I'm not sure what prizes he won today, if any, but his parents were still proud of him. He got a big kiss from his Mom.
