Far Arnside Wild daffodils

You can almost always guarantee the wild dafs being in flower on the coast path here at Far Arnside at the end of March. As they are on a south facing slope and sheltered they are probably a week in front of other wild dafs spots in know. If this was a few miles north in the Lake District this would be thronging with people however you have to walk a good way to see these Today we have done our usual Arnside/Silverdale circuit with added extra bits. As it was such a lovely day I got my legs out for an early spring airing and we finished with black currant icecream in Arnside which is possibly the best tasting icecream I know
