First time this year that the washing has made it oudoors. Hoorah!

Still can't 'edit and upload', but blipcentral is on the case. So blips are rather 'as taken'. Oh, darn it, back to those little timid ' ' s

Got the desktop back, spent ALL day updating Vista in order to install Windows 7 only to find that one time when it shut down, there was a further error message 'Disk boot failure - insert system disc and press enter.' (well, roughly those words, order might not be right) so it was back to switching it off at the box.

The computer shop said the original problem was purely software related. A computing guru thinks it's hardware and suggests sending it back to the shop before installing any thing else. ARGH.

Any votes - Software? Hardware? Opinions welcome.
