Tonight I am feeling the need to offload.

Luckily I got up before the sun this morning and drove down to Manly Harbour to watch it rise. It was the best I felt all day.

It was really quite enjoyable to know that not only has blipping helped me regain some of my long lost photographic skills, but I am also out at the crack of dawn appreciating the outdoors and getting some fresh air.

This is the same spot I photographed one of my night scenes from. What I was trying to achieve was what Chaos did so well recently. My effort was looking good to the eye, but the finished result was not quite there. Still, I am very happy with what I did get. The dilemma was picking an image from the 20 or so I shot in the space of 15 minutes. How did I do that and still find time to appreciate the sunrise?

Reading Chaos's comments on his blip recently have been very interesting. Negative space, positive space and inverse square law and just a few of the terms being thrown around. I have read and absorbed them in the hope that I can become a better photographer just from accumulated knowledge. Yeah right!
It is also very nice of people like blueplanetphoto to take the time to share their accumulated wealth of photographic knowledge with the rest of us.

Wit my Blip I try every day to take something special rather than just point and shoot. Why? Partly because the interesting photos get lots of comments which tends to make me feel good about myself. So I suppose the Blip isn't just about photography really, is it?

Today was pretty average. I had two tests at college as I start my last week before I go back to work. Quark and Freehand. Needless to say, I was not in the best of moods when I finished up this afternoon. To top it all, I then had to go into work and make plates for 3 hours. At least I had time to peruse Blipland.

I am still waiting to hear back about the job I went for the other day. They were going to get back to me either way today but nothing has happened. Do I feel relieved or depressed? I really am not looking forward to giving notice to my current employer. It isn't pretty when someone quits (all too regularly). I can do without that. Maybe if I stay put for a while I can avoid all this stress.
