Monastery

Today a last minute decision led us out of the city and onto the nearby island of Evia for a visit to a very special place: the Monastery of St. David. We stayed the whole day visiting and we were very grateful when the monks offered us a delicious lunch. We left in the evening to visit some friends in the nearby town and for the very-late return trip to Athens.
