Labour Pledges

I did the photography for the Labour pledge launch today. Here's Peter Hain being interviewed.

Our pledges to you:
Secure the recovery
Raise family living standards
Build a high tech economy
Protect frontline services
Strengthen fairness in communities.

I'm especially please about the pledge to protect frontline services, something the Tories certainly aren't offering. We aren't far enough into an economic recovery to sustain huge cuts to our public sector and it is counterproductive to go making thousands of public sector workers redundant (which is what cuts will mean), leaving more people *needing* public services, and more people claiming benefits.
