Kaiapoi River in Autumn

Today was the first time since joining blip I wished I had a better camera!!

I walked both sides of the river trying desperately to get some shots of the three shags sitting on a tree in the middle of the river, but no good, just got some blobs which didn't look at all interesting!
If you look very carefully you can see some white blobs!!!  
So I went for the scenic look which was okay.
The river was a mint colour due to the very overcast day.  Very little reflection due to the wind but at least the ducks were out in full force enjoying their swim.
Leaves are starting to fall, won't be long before the trees will be bare.
It was still a very quiet place to be, really the only noise was the quack quack quack of the ducks and the occasional plane.

Not to bad for a Saturday afternoon and a small family camera :)
