Splash of Colour.
Spent most of the day waiting for a couple of guys to come - so that the men who were already here could fit the taps. Of course they came and they went and the plumber is left to finish everything off now. Last time I saw him he was on his side in a puddle of water on a filthy floor. He didn't laugh when I asked him if he wanted an umbrella. Ooops!
Anyway, I was clearing out some more junk this morning and this time I was going through all the old bits of fabric that have been saved, just in case. The piece of dupion silk that I used in this image was a remnant from a little waistcoat that I made years ago. I just loved the colours and I guess I was reluctant to bin it because of this. It is really bright blue on the warp and a stunning red on the weft (or the other way round, I can't remember).
Thanks goodness we're only a few hours away from the weekend. Have a good one!
PS Sorry if I went OTT on the filters. Miserable day and I needed a splash of colour!
