Perhaps it is to be expected that the offspring of two Oxford graduates should show early signs of becoming a little geeky?...

Lyra loves books and 'first turning the page of a book' is a milestone her Daddy noted. When she gets too tired to focus on turning the pages she tends to try and eat the book instead. I'm not sure that would go down too well in the Bodleian.
